Speakers for the Increasing Green Jobs Forum include:
PSE: Michael Wehling, Energy Efficiency Services Program Manager. PSE will talk about regional planning in the northwest to address growth in the energy efficiency/renewable generation sector.
Seattle Office of Economic Development: Matt Houghton, Development Manager in the Office of Economic Development for the City of Seattle - “The Growing Demand of Energy Efficient Work”. Matt specializes in helping create education delivery for underrepresented populations in high skill/high demand sectors. He has been an administrator/faculty in this capacity at Shoreline Community College, working with Adult basic Education students and high school dropout students, and previously managed a drop-in for homeless youth in Seattle.
